Wickham is a picturesque village known for its historical buildings. It has a wide variety of very nice restaurants including Indian, Chinese, a wine bar, two pubs and a very good fish and chip shop. It hosts many annual events such as vintage cars, motor bikes, French markets, fairs and Christmas carol concerts.
